- How long is the drive from Spring Valley to your office?
About 12 minutes. Take Spring Mountain Road west or Durango Drive north to Rampart Blvd. Our office is at 851 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 230.
- Do you accept most PPO insurance plans for Spring Valley patients?
Yes. We accept most PPO dental insurance plans and will verify your benefits before treatment. For patients without insurance, we offer CareCredit financing with 0% interest for 12 months.
- I have not been to the dentist in years. Will you judge me?
Not at all. Many of our patients come to us after a long gap in dental care, often due to anxiety, finances, or a previous bad experience. Dr. Cohan is non-judgmental and will focus on getting your oral health back on track at a pace that is comfortable for you.
- Do you offer sedation for patients with dental anxiety?
Yes. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) provides mild relaxation for routine procedures. Oral conscious sedation is available for patients with more significant anxiety or for longer treatments. Both options are safe and monitored by Dr. Cohan.
- What is a deep cleaning and do I need one?
A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) is a treatment for gum disease that removes tartar and bacteria from below the gum line. If your gums bleed when you brush, are swollen, or if you have been told you have periodontal disease, a deep cleaning may be necessary. Dr. Cohan will evaluate your gums during your exam.
- Is your office affordable for families on a budget?
We work hard to make quality dental care accessible. We accept most insurance plans, offer 0% financing through CareCredit, and provide transparent cost estimates before treatment. Preventive care (cleanings and exams) is the most cost-effective investment in your family’s dental health.
- Do you offer emergency dental services for Spring Valley residents?
Yes. We provide same-day emergency appointments for toothaches, broken teeth, infections, and dental trauma. Call (702) 341-9160 immediately and we will get you in.
- Can you help with teeth grinding and jaw pain?
Yes. Teeth grinding (bruxism) is common among stressed professionals and shift workers. Dr. Cohan provides custom nightguards and TMJ therapy to protect your teeth and relieve jaw pain, headaches, and muscle tension.
- What languages does your staff speak?

- How is your practice different from the chain dental clinics in Spring Valley?

- Do you offer payment plans for expensive treatments?
Yes. CareCredit 0% interest financing for 12 months is available for any treatment. Extended payment plans can be discussed for larger cases. We will never let finances be a barrier to necessary care.
- I work nights on the Strip. Do you have daytime appointments?

- What preventive services do you recommend to avoid big dental bills?
Twice-yearly cleanings and exams, fluoride treatments for children, sealants, custom nightguards if you grind your teeth, and prompt treatment of small cavities before they become large ones. An ounce of prevention truly is worth a pound of cure.
- Can I bring my children to your office?
Absolutely. We treat patients of all ages and our gentle approach makes children feel at ease. Sedation is available for anxious young patients.
- Do you accept CareCredit for Spring Valley patients?
